Are you at your best when the tolerances get tight?
Imagine starting your shift in a spotless, modern shop, powering up a Citizen or Tsugami Swiss lathe, and taking a complex medical component from setup to first-piece approval. That is a typical day at TOMZ Corporation—an FDA-registered Class 2 and Class 3 Medical Device Manufacturer certified to ISO 13485. We offer competitive compensation plus benefits including 401k, health, dental, vision, and paid time off.
Your challenge
- Can you independently set up and operate Citizen and Tsugami Swiss lathes for both legacy and new jobs, dialing in offsets and executing rapid tool changes to keep parts flowing?
- Will you plan and perform both scheduled and routine preventive maintenance to keep machines performing consistently?
- Are you ready to run thorough in-process inspections using microscopes, micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, thread gauges, comparators, Micro-Hite, CMM, and vision systems?
- Can you lead problem-solving when a process drifts, documenting actions and results to ISO 13485 requirements?
- Will you manage material control, identification, and traceability—clearly separating conforming and nonconforming materials?
- Do you thrive in a GDP/GMP culture, using ERP and QMS to maintain airtight inspection records and full traceability?
- Will you model safe work practices and follow PPE guidance at all times?
