Role Overview As a Baseline Demand Forecasting Specialist (COE), you will architect tonies’ unconstrained statistical demand signal. You transform historical sales, market dynamics, and lifecycle indicators into a robust baseline forecast that serves as the single version of truth for global decision making. Responsibilities Process Leadership analyze seasonality and outliers at the SKU and channel levels. Partner with IT and planning systems specialists to automate workflows, improve data flows, and define requirements for APS dashboards. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years experience in high dependency ratio industries (Consumer Electronics, Gaming, Licensed Entertainment). Proven track record in managing system‑to‑service or platform‑to‑consumable product lifecycles. Experience presenting attachment logic to senior leadership to justify inventory investments. Deep knowledge of time series, seasonality, intermittency, and model governance. Demonstrated ability to operate in a COE role, setting standards and driving adoption. Hands‑on experience with APS/planning tools such as o9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or SAP IBP. Strong Excel skills; SQL capability preferred; practical experience with Python/R or ML/AI in demand forecasting is a plus. Excellent communication skills to translate complex statistical insights into actionable business decisions. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Fluent English required; German considered a plus.
