We are looking to recruit for our Rostock - Laage location.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and preventive and corrective maintenance on aircraft avionics and mission systems, including V/UHF and NAV/COM systems, multifunction displays (MFD), radar warning receivers (RWR); repair, install and modify mission systems.
- Troubleshoot, analyse and rectify faults in aircraft electrical and electronic systems.
- Repair, install, modify and replace avionics and mission systems in accordance with maintenance documentation and aviation regulatory requirements.
- Carry out calibrations, functional checks and performance tests of avionics systems on the ground and support system tests after maintenance activities.
- Release work in accordance with the scope of your EASA CAT B2 licence, including preparing proper technical documentation.
- Ensure that all spare parts are inspected, approved, certified and correctly documented before installation.
Requirements / Profile
- Completed training as an avionics technician / aircraft electronics technician.
- Valid EASA CAT B2 licence is an advantage.
- Several years of professional experience in the maintenance of avionics and aircraft electrical systems.
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (national and international).
