Comfort close to hardware and embedded Linux boot flows: serial consoles, TFTP/NFS boot, U-Boot, flashing and recovery.
Experience keeping automation infrastructure reproducible and maintainable, with a focus on known-good device state.
Nice to Have LAVA or another hardware-in-the-loop / board-farm framework (labgrid etc.).
Yocto / Open Embedded / bitbake build systems.
Ansible and infrastructure automation; build-farm scaling (sstate caches, ephem cloud workers).
CANopen / fieldbus or other low-level device control (python-can), and basic hardware fluency (reading schematics / Ki Cad).
