Technical Sales - Drive Technology

Overview

Tornado Antriebstechnik GmbH is a supplier of customized motor gearboxes with a special focus on worm gear technology and combined spur/worm gear solutions. Our core competencies include the manufacture of gearboxes through processes such as machining, grinding, milling, turning, and gear-tooth forming. We offer integration with our in-house range of motors or standard motor suppliers (AC, DC). We support our customers from the design phase to final delivery through manufacturing and assembling. Our main markets include stair and home/platform lifts, motors for industrial doors, stage machinery, and specialized industry applications like textile and printing machines and traveling cranes.

Role Description

• You will provide our customers with expert advice on technical and customized solutions and find tailor‑made answers to their requirements
• You will explain complex products in an understandable way, demonstrate their benefits and make the advantages tangible for our customers
• You will conduct sales talks, win new customers, present our products at trade fairs and build lasting business relationships
• You will accompany the entire sales process—from initial contact to contract conclusion to long‑term customer care
• You will be the central interface between Tornado Antriebstechnik GmbH and our sister company (ASI Drives Inc – www.asidrives.com).

Qualifications

• Completed specialized vocational training of at least three years
• Several years of specialized professional experience and in‑depth knowledge of products, markets, competition, and customer specifics
• Ideally, experience in the field of drive technology and/or industry‑specific knowledge
• Ability to work in a team combined with an independent and structured approach to work
• Very good German and fluent English skills; other languages are an advantage
• Willingness to travel more than 30% of the time, mainly in Europe, but also partly in America
