To strengthen our Logistics Department within Tosca, we are currently recruiting an enthusiastic Transport Planner on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Position Purpose As our Transport Planner, you'll coordinate and optimize the end-to-end order processing and fulfillment process, including transport planning. The role ensures seamless communication among customers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders, while striving to maximize service levels, reduce costs, and support the continuous improvement of logistics operations across EMEA. This position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract. For this role, we expect the new colleague to work from either our location in Bönen or Frechen (Germany), or Agrate Brianza (Italy) . The chosen location will depend on what is most practical for the selected candidate. Your Responsibilities Coordinate the entire order processing and fulfillment process, including transport planning. Maintain professional communication with customers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders. Optimize transport routes and logistics flows to reduce freight costs and environmental impact. Support and coordinate stock availability across the network. Proactively work to maximize service levels and customer satisfaction. Contribute to the achievement of departmental and individual performance targets. Work as part of a dedicated European team focused on continuously improving and optimizing logistics operations across Europe. Manage ocean freight imports (FCL and LCL) from booking through delivery. Prepare, review, and process freight documentation, including bills of lading and related transport documents. Handle import customs formalities and prepare customs declarations where required. Coordinate cargo bookings with shipping lines and organize inland transportation by truck or rail. Your Profile Relevant professional experience in order processing, logistics, or transport planning, preferably within a European or international environment. Experience working with customers and logistics service providers is highly desirable. Strong organizational and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail. Advanced-level German language skills and strong verbal and written English communication skills. Additional languages are considered an advantage. Proactive problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset. Ability to optimize transport operations to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset. Experience working with logistics, order management, and planning systems.
