Job Description
- Develop and design components and systems from concept to serial production
- Coordinate and manage internal/external design engineers and suppliers
- Conduct design reviews, assembly trials, and product validation activities
- Create and maintain BOMs, drawings, CAD data, and engineering documentation
- Manage engineering changes in accordance with established change management processes
- Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, manufacturing plants, and cross-functional teams
- Support testing, validation, and CAE activities
- Ensure timely completion of development milestones and project deliverables
Requirements
Your qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in automotive product development
- Knowledge of CATIA, FMEA, GD&T, and Tolerance Management
- Experience with BOMs, engineering change management, and validation processes
- Familiarity with RFQ and automotive development processes
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and customer-focused
- Business fluent in German and English
