Engineer (m/f/d) Reliability Development – ICE Powertrains

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reliability Development Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team and take a significant role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) powertrains and sub-systems. As a Reliability Development Engineer, you will work closely with internal and external experts, plan and coordinate validation and inspection programs, and contribute to the development of state-of-the-art powertrains. Your work will be instrumental in supporting our race and test events worldwide.

Your Tasks:
- Collaborate with internal and external experts to develop and approve ICE powertrains and sub-systems.
- Take responsibility for planning, coordinating, analyzing, documenting, and reporting on the powertrain validation and inspection program.
- Work with the team to define system and component reliability test patterns and validation criteria.
- Conduct failure root cause analyses, analyze data and build a comprehensive database.
- Plan, execute, and follow up on reliability tests on transient test benches and tracks.
- Develop and define test procedures, set limits, and specify test strategies.
- Utilize knowledge and experience with relevant measurement and analysis tools.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Have expertise in metallurgical structures, processes, and failure mechanisms.
- Show practical experience with used engine parts.
- Display proficiency in both written and spoken English, excellent teamwork, strong communication skills and a positive attitude toward flexible working hours.
- Be willing to travel as needed.
