(Senior) Test Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities:

• Analyze product requirements and specifications to develop detailed test plans and test strategies
• Design, develop, and execute various types of test cases, including functional testing, performance testing, compatibility testing, security testing, stress testing
• Use various testing tools and equipment for testing, such as network analysers, traffic generators, protocol analysers
• Accurately record test results, create clear defect reports, and track defect fixes and verification
• Work closely with the development team to communicate test results and help resolve identified issues
• Participate in the improvement and optimization of testing processes to improve testing efficiency and quality
• Maintain the test environment and test equipment
• Keep up-to-date with the latest testing technologies and industry standards

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or in a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in testing routers or network devices
• Familiar with various network protocols and technologies, such as TCP/IP, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, VPN, QoS
• Experience with various testing methods and techniques, such as black-box testing, white-box testing and automation testing
• Proficient in using various testing tools and equipment, such as Ubuntu, Wireshark, Iperf, Spirent TestCenter, Selenium, Ixchariot
• Full working proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written
