Responsibilities
- Definition of technical specifications related to various investment compliance requirements, and ongoing review and optimization of relevant business processes.
- Advising the business in areas such as Mi FID II/Mi FIR, MAD/MAR, Mi CAR, PSD II, SRD II, EMIR, etc., to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring the development of regulatory and legal norms and conducting regulatory horizon scanning across EU member states.
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders on all investment compliance questions.
- Preparing reports for management and supervisory authorities; processing inquiries from EU supervisory authorities.
- Collaborating with other departments, in particular Risk, Legal, Finance and People.
- Providing continuous training in various compliance topics.
What We're Looking For
- Successfully completed studies in economics, law, or business law, or comparable studies.
- Ideally, several years of professional experience in investment compliance in auditing or consulting firms, with in-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory and legal requirements, and/or several years of professional experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Knowledge of Mi FID II/Mi FIR, Wp HG, Ma Comp, Ma Risk, Ma Depot, Mi CAR, and other prominent EU regulatory frameworks.
- English fluency is a must; German and other EU languages are an advantage.
