Senior Group Accounting Manager

Please note that this position is based in Berlin, Germany. Relocation support is provided if required.

WHAT YOU\’LL BE DOING

1. This is a senior role in our accounting organization and a unique opportunity to be a key contributor in a dynamic environment.
2. Be responsible for a broad range of tasks from helping us to build new products to shaping our group accounting policies and procedures (HGB, IFRS, RechKredV).
3. Own the development of our accounting standards and procedures as well as group-level disclosure.
4. Be the face of Accounting when working closely with stakeholders across the company and external auditors.

WHAT WE\’RE LOOKING FOR

1. At least 5 years of professional experience in audit, accounting, financial services, or similar roles at a top-tier firm.
2. Excellent technical accounting knowledge (HGB, IFRS) and experience with group reporting/consolidation.
3. Experience in the financial services/banking sector or a Fintech will be a plus.
4. Self-starter with the drive to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, high-growth organization.
5. Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex accounting topics succinctly.
