What You\’ll Be Doing

• Work closely with our Product and Growth teams to enable the development of financial products – you will be the main point of contact for financial products related tax topics within the organization for Spain.
• Own the Spanish market as the subject matter expert for tax topics that relate to the entire product range of Trade Republic: securities, crypto, current accounts, cards.
• Ensure compliance with local tax reporting requirements, for customers and tax authorities.
• Coordinate with our external partners, including financial institutions, service providers and tax advisors.
• Analyze existing and upcoming tax laws regarding their impact on Trade Republic\’s existing and future business and take responsibility for necessary implementation.

What We\’re Looking For

• You don\’t need to be a capital markets tax expert, we are looking for someone who has a tax background and is willing to deep dive into everything tax with a passion for capital markets.
• Experience in the financial services / banking sector is a plus.
• Strong communicator with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, clearly articulate complex tax topics succinctly.
• Spanish and English language skills are required (full professional proficiency).
