Overview As Senior Investigations Officer, you lead complex internal investigations across the global business, focusing on fraud, policy non-compliance and misconduct. You work with ORIC and other functions to strengthen controls, remediate findings, and shape investigation methodologies. You’ll mentor the investigations team, drive cross-functional collaboration, and contribute to a robust anti-fraud framework. This role offers impact at scale, influencing governance and integrity across operations. Verantwortungsbereiche Lead complex investigations into internal and external fraud, financial misconduct, and code of conduct breaches across the global business Interview witnesses, collect statements, and document findings comprehensively Draft detailed investigative reports with conclusions and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders Present results to compliance, senior management and legal counsel as required Maintain thorough records of investigations and related activities Prioritize team resources and supervise ongoing investigations; prepare for governance reporting to Board sub-committees Contribute to risk-based country/market review strategies and investigation plans Design and implement anti-fraud strategies, policies, and procedures; perform fraud risk assessments Utilize data analytics and forensic tools to detect anomalies and indicators of fraud Collaborate with Legal, HR, IT, Finance to support investigations and corrective actions Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging fraud threats Support training and upskilling across the business on investigations Provide governance support on initiatives intersecting with Fraud and Investigations Contribute to strengthening controls with Internal Controls and Internal Audit on audit prioritisation Engage with Compliance, Internal Audit, Operational Risk, Security, HR and CHESS teams as part of the governance network Assist in reporting to Board sub-committees and Governance and Controls Steering Committee Zentrale Anforderungen Minimum 15 years of experience in corporate investigations, anti-fraud assessments, or similar roles Expert knowledge of investigative methodologies, forensic accounting, and fraud detection techniques Experience leading overseas Ethics proven project management under pressure Proficiency with forensic data analysis tools and software High ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality Understanding of mining, shipping, and commodity trading industries Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards Advanced knowledge of digital forensics and investigation techniques Excellent English skills (C2 or equivalent) Willingness to travel ( Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Criminal Justice, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (CFE, CPA, CIA) strong written and verbal communication leadership and team mentorship collaboration across functions forensic tools and software for data analysis data analytics for anomaly detection digital forensics techniques
