ph3Main Purpose /h3pThe Compliance department at Trafigura is a global function responsible for ensuring the business operates in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. The team provides guidance and oversight across the Group's trading, operations, and corporate functions - covering areas including anti-bribery and corruption (ABC), sanctions screening, anti-money laundering (AML), trade controls, and regulatory compliance. Working closely with Legal, Finance, and the business lines, Compliance plays a critical role in managing regulatory risk, maintaining Trafigura's licence to operate, and embedding a strong culture of integrity across the organisation. /ppThe Senior Compliance manager will assist the Chief Compliance Officer with all aspects of assessing, monitoring and developing the Trafigura Group Compliance Program to ensure the consistent and robust continuous improvement of the Compliance program. /ph3Knowledge, Skills and Abilities /h3ulliCompliance or law professional with at least 10 years' relevant experience /liliHands-on experience with sanctions programmes, screenings and interpretation of applicable trade controls /liliExperience in commodities trading and commodity shipping, ideally with significant international and cross border experience /liliShould have extensive experience of all aspects of a corporate compliance program including anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering, trade sanctions, and market abuse. /liliWorking knowledge of European regulatory frameworks, particularly Swiss law, EU, UK, US, Swiss sanctions regimes, and EMIR/MiFID II /liliAML/KYC operational experience in a financial services or trading environment /liliGood IT skills and organisational skills /liliStrong project management skills /liliExcellent command of written and spoken English /liliExperience with Relativity desired /li /ulh3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliReview complex sanctions-related queries and regulatory updates.
