Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional and non-functional testing for software, ensuring reliability and performance across all use cases.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts tailored to software interacting with hardware components.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify defects and validate fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, hardware engineers, and project managers, to understand requirements and report findings.
• Analyze logs and technical data to troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues.
• Participate in regression testing, performance testing, and compatibility testing.
• Utilize programming skills to assist in building automation frameworks and scripts for repetitive testing scenarios.
• Document test results, track issues, and follow through to resolution using defect tracking tools.

Your Profile:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in software testing, with a focus on hardware-specific or embedded software.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in functional and non-functional testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of hardware-software integration and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Experience or interest in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar).
  • Knowledge of automation tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience with testing software in embedded systems or IoT devices.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent.
• Proficient in both English and German written and speaking
