Job title : SAP ABAP Developer (m / f / d) Hybrid

For our SAP team, based in Stuttgart, Germany, we are looking for a SAP ABAP Developer (m / f / d).

Scope of your role

• Understand business requirements, evaluate alternatives and consult functional inhouse consultants on the most appropriate technical implementation approach.
• Work with core ABAP concepts such as Function Modules, Dialog Programming, Building Reports using ALV, BDC / BAPI, Data Dictionary and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Implement and support on Customer Exits, BADIs and Enhancements.
• Design and support SAP Forms (Smartforms / SAP Scripts).
• Deliver data extraction, data conversion and data load programs.
• Implement quality checks and experience in advanced techniques for optimizing performance in the ABAP developments.
• Collaborate in system upgrades (using SPDD, SPAU) and support functional inhouse consultants in the implementation of SAP notes.
• Support the functional inhouse consultants in debugging and error analysis.
• Ensure and drive ABAP knowledge transfer to other members of the development team.

What defines you

• Degree in an IT related discipline e.g., Informatics, Business and Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years hands-on ABAP development expertise.
• Any previous exposure to OData and SAP NetWeaver Gateway would be beneficial.
• Willingness to adapt to future coding paradigm (Code to Data), making use of SQL Script, CDS Views and AMDP in a S4 / HANA landscape.
• Strong understanding of the SAP software toolset and familiar with SAP S / 4HANA Systems concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Good understanding and experience in developing applications in various functional modules such as SD / MM / PP / EWM / FI / CO, etc.
