Your Mission
Power quality is becoming a critical factor for modern electrical infrastructure, especially with the growth of electrification, renewables, industrial automation, and grid stability requirements. As Trench Group continues to expand its global footprint, we are strengthening our focus on power quality solutions for mid‑ and small‑sized market players.
In this strategic and highly visible role, you will drive the development of this business segment, establish new partnerships, and position Trench Group as a key enabler of reliable and efficient power quality solutions worldwide.
Your Tasks
- Global Business Development: Act as a key driver for the worldwide expansion of Trench Group’s business in power quality solutions. Identify, develop, and grow opportunities with mid‑sized and niche players across global markets.
- Strategic Planning and Collaboration: Define new business opportunities and go‑to‑market strategies in close alignment with Product Management and R&D. Develop targeted growth plans for key customers and emerging segments.
- Customer Engagement and Technology Promotion: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners. Present and promote innovative power quality technologies and solutions tailored to customer needs. Represent Trench Group at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Market Intelligence and Innovation Input: Conduct in‑depth market and competitor analysis to identify trends, technological developments, and new entry points. Provide structured feedback to Product Management and R&D to support product development and portfolio optimisation.
- Reporting and Stakeholder Alignment: Regularly report on pipeline development, market insights, and strategic progress to internal stakeholders, including Management, Sales, Product Management, and R&D.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience: Several years of professional experience in Sales, Business Development, Engineering, or Product Management within the power quality, grid components, or power electronics sector. Experience with mid‑sized or niche solution providers is highly desirable. International exposure is a plus.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of power quality solutions (e.g., harmonics mitigation, reactive power compensation, voltage stability, power electronics). Experience in market analysis and product strategy development.
- Sales and Communication Skills: Proven ability to drive business growth, negotiate successfully, and build long‑term customer relationships. Strong capability to communicate complex technical solutions to customers and partners.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Structured, analytical mindset with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Mobility and Flexibility: Willingness to travel internationally.
