Your Mission

In this crucial role, you will play a transformative part in shaping the future of Trench Group’s manufacturing operations. Your mission is to support our journey into advanced automation and Manufacturing 4.0, driving innovation and efficiency across our global network. Your strategic vision will position us at the forefront of technology, enhancing sustainability and reinforcing our leadership in energy transmission. Your Tasks:

• Technology Strategies: Define and implement technology strategies aligned with Manufacturing 4.0 principles across all production stages. Act as the primary advisor for technology initiatives across our nine manufacturing plants.
• Roadmaps: Create and maintain comprehensive roadmaps for adopting emerging manufacturing technologies. Design and implement automation strategies incorporating robotics, AI, IoT, and data analytics.
• Digital Transformation: Lead the digital transformation of manufacturing processes, focusing on smart factory concepts. Establish and lead cross-plant expert teams to guide activities and align processes with company standards.
• Best Practices & Technologies: Standardize best practices, technologies, and automation solutions across all locations.
• Investment Recommendations: Provide investment recommendations for new equipment and automation solutions.
• Equipment Utilization: Develop solutions to optimize existing equipment utilization, emphasizing Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Manufacturing 4.0 integration.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Master’s degree in Mechanical, Process, or Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of process technologies for producing bushings, coils, and instrument transformers, including winding, impregnation, foaming, extruding, turning, and milling technologies.
• Manufacturing 4.0 Experience: Proven track record in implementing Manufacturing 4.0 technologies, industrial automation systems, robotics, and IIoT platforms in industrial settings.
• Project Management Skills: Strong project management background with excellent planning, organizational skills, resilience, and a customer-oriented approach.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Open communication style, capable of effective interaction at all levels, from shop floor to management.
• Language Skills: Fluency in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
