Manager Treasury Operations (f/m/d)

Hybrid | Full time | Senior (5+ years)

Your Tasks:

• Preparation of various management reports in cooperation with Controlling/Accounting.
• Responsible for credit management, i.e. the assessment of clients’ creditability and their continuous monitoring through credit reporting.
• Oversee day-to-day business in cash and liquidity management, including the execution of all payment transactions, settlement of FX-derivatives, and back office related activities in guarantee management in close cooperation with treasury colleagues.
• Manage relationships with rating agencies and external stakeholders, and update rating reports.
• Provide support in the month-end closing process and treasury accounting.
• Assist front office colleagues in managing group-wide liquidity planning.
• Work on the constant optimization and digitalization of treasury processes and support projects in cash management and treasury system landscape.
• Manage bank accounts ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. FATCA and KYC), organize and manage powers of attorney for all accounts centrally, and reflect these in all treasury systems.

Requirements:

• Successfully completed university degree in business administration, finance, accounting, controlling, math, or information technology.
• Extensive experience in treasury, finance, banking, especially in cash management/payment transactions, accounting, and controlling.
• Experience working with Treasury Management Systems and electronic banking/payment tools.
• Experience in credit management and investor relations would be a plus.
• Strong ability to work in a team, intercultural strength, and ability to work collaboratively across functions in a highly demanding and dynamic environment.
• Ability to work accurately under time pressure, committed to going the extra mile, and being a self-starter and a real team player.
• Excellent language skills in English and German.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR DAY

You might start your day at Trench working on reports for the Group CFO or banks in close cooperation with Controlling and Accounting. After lunch, you start interacting with the Sales Organization to review the current credit report and forecast the global need for guarantees and other types of securities. The rest of the afternoon, you might spend on activities around FX-settlements and bank account reconciliation. Additionally, you act as project manager and coordinate the implementation of bank accounts, supporting front office colleagues with guarantee and liquidity planning related activities. To round up your day, you are the point of contact for rating agencies and credit rating providers.
