Position: IoT Edge Developer – C# / .NET (f/m/x)
Contract: Full‑time. Start date: as soon as possible. Location: Linz, Innsbruck.
We are looking for a developer passionate about IoT, edge computing, and AI‑driven data services. You will design and implement integration layers between edge devices and cloud platforms, build new product features, and shape our architecture.
Responsibilities
Implement integrations into IoT and ML stacks of leading cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
Implement new product features and services or improve existing ones.
Develop interfaces that interact with different edge/backend services and frontends.
Create service and software architecture concepts.
Make design decisions as a key engineer within the team.
Work with modern technologies and IoT stacks/frameworks.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of full‑time experience in IoT solution software development.
At least 2 years of full‑time experience in object‑oriented programming, preferably C# / .NET Core.
Experience with at least one IoT stack or framework, e.g. Azure IoT or AWS IoT services.
Experience with intelligent edge devices based on IoT runtimes such as Azure IoT Edge Runtime or AWS Greengrass for container/service management and device configurations.
Experience with message–based protocols such as MQTT or AMQP and message brokers such as Mosquitto, RabbitMQ or ZeroMQ.
Understanding of device provisioning concepts and solutions.
Understanding of hot/warm/cold data paths and data life cycles in sellable cloud environments.
Understanding of computer networks and distributed systems (P2P, client/server architectures).
Basic knowledge of cryptography (hashing, signing, TPMs).
Interest in P2P and DLT technologies.
