Overview
In this role you will maintain highly available GPS correction services using cloud and automation tech. You’ll collaborate with development teams to support product delivery across the tech lifecycle and drive improvements in reliability, security, and efficiency. You’ll evaluate new providers, design scalable workloads, and guide cloud migrations from on-premises. This is a hands-on position that blends cloud engineering with operations, automation, and security best practices to support Trimble’s positioning platform.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Assess and enable new provider capabilities on the platform
- Design and implement scalable workloads using automation and IaC
- Enforce compliance through tagging, backups, and patching
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve complex incidents
- Advise on well-architected principles based on real-world experience
- Guide migration of legacy systems to the cloud
- Promote new cloud technologies and share knowledge with IT teams
- Maintain IAM and security best practices in AWS and Azure
- Automate and optimize IT and business processes
- Create and maintain source code repositories and gated CI/CD pipelines
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Proven experience in AWS and Azure cloud operations
- Hands-on Kubernetes and containerized operations
- Strong automation experience with Terraform
- Exposure to configuration management with Ansible
- Skills in cloud networking and security frameworks
