Are you interested in developing modern web applications for visualization and analysis of 3D laser scan data? You love to design intuitive user experiences, even for complex tasks? Do you accept the challenge of working with high-volume scan data in today‘s modern cloud environment? If so, you could be part of the Trimble Track Survey & Scanning team.

What You Will Do: You will join our team to help develop the next generation cloud-based scan data analysis platform. You’ll find innovative solutions for data processing, visualization, and storage. You collaborate with colleagues around the world to extend Trimble’s cloud ecosystem with new microservices or web frontends.

You will:

1. Collaborate with team members to analyze and translate customer and architectural requirements into web services
2. Develop, test, and deploy microservices on various platforms
3. Design and develop new web applications to visualize 3D scanning
4. Use established best practices to keep source code clean and maintainable
5. Communicate via chat and video meetings with colleagues across the world

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:

1. BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience
2. Demonstrated experience as a developer in a C# .NET environment
3. Experience in writing and consuming web services and Restful APIs
4. Experience in Javascript, Angular or React
5. Experience with Docker and Azure
6. Mathematical background (3D) is a plus
7. Proactive team player mindset that strives to engage with distributed colleagues
8. Good written and spoken English (German is a plus)

Information About Your Location: This position enables you to work in a hybrid environment at Trimble’s office in Wiesentheid, Germany. While working in close contact with your colleagues at the office, you will be able to work from home selected days a week.
