We are looking to complete our RD team, based in Renens:br/br/RD Software Engineer (M/F) -br/br/80% Permanent Positionbr/br/Responsibilities: Develop software and user interfaces interacting with our measuring instruments, sensors, servo drives and third-party software Develop and maintain wireless and wired communication systems Design, maintain and evolve databases Participate in the development of mobile and web applications Contribute to the integration of artificial intelligence and optimisation algorithms for the calibration of our instruments Required skills: Experience in object-oriented programming: C#, C , Python Development of user interfaces and software: WPF, Avalonia, Qt Mastery of communication protocols: Wireless (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi), Serial and wired (USB, RS-232, RS-485), Network (Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP) Design and management of databases (SQL server) Development of mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications Ability to interact with servo drives, measurement systems and third-party software Ability to deploy a Linux OS on a System On Module and develop applications Knowledge of optimisation / machine learning for instrument calibration Knowledge of computer vision and image processing for contactless measurement, inspection and dimensional control Mastery of version control tools (Git) Profile sought: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science Recent graduate or engineer with a few years of experience Good level of technical English (written and spoken) Interest in hardware-related technologies and associated technical challenges Creative mind and technical curiosity Analytical skills and problem-solving ability Autonomy, rigour and organisational skills Desire to learn and develop skills (applications, AI, vision, embedded systems) Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different disciplines (electronics, mechanics, software) Why join Trimos?
