We are currently looking for a HR Business Partner to join our HR Team in Zurich.
Responsibilities: Act as the primary on‑site HR representative for the Module business in EU, providing day‑to‑day HR support, consultation, problem‑solving, and coaching to managers and employees across the module business unit.
Partner closely with business leaders to understand workforce needs, assist in driving end‑to‑end recruitment (active sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding) and build a strong talent pipeline in the solar/renewable energy sector.
Own employee relations – handle complex cases, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, investigations, and grievances, with a pragmatic and legally sound approach.
Provide on‑site HR support for the Zurich office, managing all local people processes (visas, payroll coordination, benefits, and policy implementation) and ensuring seamless support for expatriate managers relocating to Switzerland.
Drive talent development and career conversations – proactively identify skill gaps, coordinate training programs, and facilitate individual development plans to enhance team performance and employee engagement.
Support and guide managers in performance review cycles , goal setting, and performance improvement plans, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
Ensure compliance with EU labor law – advise management on local employment regulations and risk mitigation
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 3–5 years of HR BP or generalist experience, with proven hands‑on expertise in recruitment and employee relations.
Experience in a fast‑paced, international environment; background in the solar, new energy, or renewable energy industry is strongly preferred.
Solid knowledge of EU labor law (not just Swiss law) and practical experience with local employment practices.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills – able to influence and coach managers at all levels.
Solution‑oriented, resilient, and detail‑driven – comfortable with both strategic discussions and day‑to‑day operational tasks.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a matrix organization.
Fluent in German and English (business level); additional languages are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
