The Opportunity
We are currently working with a growing renewable energy company that is looking to appoint an experienced Solar Project Manager to support the development and delivery of utility-scale solar PV projects across Germany.
This is an excellent opportunity for a project management professional with experience in the renewable energy sector who wants to take responsibility for projects from development through to construction and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage solar PV projects throughout the project lifecycle, from development through to construction and commissioning.
- Coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, risks and delivery milestones.
- Oversee EPC contractors and construction partners.
- Support permitting, grid connection and technical project requirements.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Manage relationships with landowners, authorities, grid operators and other external stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve project risks and technical or commercial issues.
- Prepare regular project reports and provide updates to senior management.
- Support the continuous improvement of project delivery processes.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in solar PV, renewable energy, construction or infrastructure project management.
- Experience managing utility-scale or commercial solar projects is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the German renewable energy market.
- Experience working with EPC contractors, developers or construction partners.
- Strong project management, organisational and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Fluent German and good English communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Germany.
