The Role

We are looking for a dynamic team member with a flights background to play a crucial role in building and supporting external and internal partnerships, functions and strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and commercially astute individual to join our team as an Airline Business Development Manager with a Northern Europe focused portfolio.

In this Role:

  1. You will play a vital role in developing the Trip.com Northern Europe flight market.
  2. You will work locally in the market and with wider teams on a regional and global basis.
  3. Responsibility for contracting and negotiating airline content and commercials and performance.
  4. Working with internal departments, you will use local market knowledge and experience to influence our market strategy for flights.
  5. Reporting to the Regional Director, you will be responsible for developing and growing Local, Regional and Global airline relationships.

What you’ll Need to Succeed:

  1. Willing and able to travel.
  2. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  3. Results orientated and experience working to strict deadlines.
  4. Capable to work independently with minimal supervision.
  5. Outstanding negotiation skills.
  6. Experience developing and implementing initiatives to drive performance with key airline partners.
  7. Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  8. Experience working with internal stakeholders to drive commercial objectives.
  9. Ability to analyse internal and external data to guide commercial decision-making.
  10. Knowledgeable of a wide variety of content and markets served from Northern Europe.
  11. 4-5 years of Travel Industry experience from airline/travel agency, distribution and/or sales and marketing.
