Overview
In this Senior Investor Relations role, you will own trivago's investor narrative and engagement, working directly with the CEO and CFO to shape how the market perceives the company. You will build awareness among institutions and retail investors, manage the investor pipeline, and deepen relationships with existing shareholders. You will bring financial storytelling and valuation discipline to inform strategic decisions and support growth. This role offers exposure to public markets, high standards, and a chance to influence trivago’s valuation and capital-raising story.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Build awareness of trivago's equity story with institutional and retail investors through targeted outreach and content
- Generate and qualify a pipeline of prospective investors by researching funds and portfolios aligned with trivago's growth
- Directly engage prospects via outreach, calls, and meetings with clear messaging
- Manage and deepen relationships with existing investors through updates, roadshows, and conferences
- Own end-to-end management of the investor pipeline from awareness to advocacy
- Oversee valuation and peer benchmarking framework and translate insights for management
- Support the CFO on strategic finance projects, valuation work, business cases, and capital allocation
- Lead quarterly earnings call preparation and respond to investor and sell-side requests
- Brief CEO/CFO on market sentiment, consensus, and investor feedback
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 7+ years in investor relations, equity research, sell-side/buyside coverage, investment banking, corporate finance, or related public markets role
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills (three-statement models, DCF, trading/transaction multiples)
- Outgoing, proactive communication style with a knack for initiating investor conversations
- Expertise in financial storytelling to translate performance and strategy into a compelling narrative
- Learning mindset with curiosity and openness to feedback
