Senior Architect - Cloud and Datacenter (all genders) Responsibilities
Developing the vision and strategy for datacentre and cloud infrastructure and technology for the TroGroup Group
Designing and developing the hybrid-infrastructure architecture, technology standards and procedures for the TroGroup Group in close alignment to the business
Governing the whole of the TroGroup datacentre and cloud infrastructure to ensure it is compliant with IT strategy, policies and standards.
Driving and owning datacenter and cloud strategy activities.
Leading the research and evaluation of new technology opportunities, providers and cloud/datacentre technologies
Coordinate work with peers and other sections of the ICT division.
Coordination with the CISO, ensuring that all solutions are compliant with TroGroup and industry security requirements and best practices
Planning, design, installation and maintenance of datacenter and cloud infrastructure and technical architecture, including Active directory and Entra services
Review and approval of documentation and the validation of introduced technology for handover to IT-Servicedesk
Providing proactive 2nd support and advice on related technology topics
Coordinate 3rd level support
Profile
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking
A strategic technology thinker, with experience of defining and realising technology strategy
Forward-thinking and excellent analytics, planning and delivery skills
Computer science degree, related professional training or certification, or comparable education
Experience of dealing with complex IT systems (virtualization, high availability) in global environments
Experience in Windows Server, Linux Server, vSphere, Veeam, Cloud technologies, Active Directory and Entra
Basic knowledge in networking technologies
Interest to enhance experience in modern IT infrastructures
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills and service mentality in dealing with the internal users and external parties
Flexible team player with good self-organization
High self-motivation and goal-oriented way of working
Willingness to travel
