Senior Business Development Manager – DACH Markets

Core Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle across DACH corporate markets, from qualified meetings through to closing high-value enterprise deals
- Engage with senior decision-makers across HR, L&D, and Procurement functions in large organisations
- Manage and accurately forecast a complex pipeline of enterprise opportunities
- Develop deep customer insights and collaborate with internal product teams to shape value propositions and improve market fit
- Identify market trends across corporate learning and digital education within the DACH region
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and client meetings (virtual and in-person)
- Support and mentor more junior members of the commercial team, contributing to overall team performance
The Role
This is a high-impact commercial position responsible for driving new business growth across the DACH region. You will play a key role in expanding a leading digital learning solution within enterprise organisations, shaping how businesses invest in language and skills development.
Beyond individual deal ownership, this role contributes to broader commercial strategy, market expansion, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product, and customer success teams.
About You
- Fluent in German and English
- Strong experience in B2B SaaS or digital solutions sales
- Proven track record of closing large enterprise deals (€200k+ contract value)
- Strong pipeline generation and deal management capability
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders
- Commercially strong with a consultative, solution-led sales approach
- Experience selling into HR, L&D, or corporate learning environments is highly desirable
- Data-driven mindset with strong forecasting accuracy
- Experience working in fast-paced, target-driven environments
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDICC is a plus
- Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce is beneficial
