Tasks:

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain control cabinets, electrical systems, VFDs, servo drives, and motor-driven rollers
• Write, adapt, and refine object-oriented PLC code, with an emphasis on Codesys architecture and motion-control applications
• Carry out system integration across the electrical, mechanical, controls, and software domains
• Investigate, resolve, and fine-tune automation systems to drive maximum reliability and throughput
• Uphold all site safety requirements, including Lockout-Tagout (LOTO), PPE compliance, and risk-reduction practices
• Produce precise technical documentation, commissioning logs, and daily progress updates
• Partner with engineering, software, and delivery teams to see projects through to successful completion

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a Controls Engineer in industrial automation, robotics, or material-handling settings, applying object-oriented programming in Structured Text (ST)
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and conduct electrical diagnostics and fault-finding
• Practical experience programming and debugging Codesys or Beckhoff PLCs and motion-control systems
• Sound grasp of industrial networking, automation hardware, and system integration
• Comfortable working across Windows and Linux, including PowerShell, terminal, and command-line utilities
• Experience commissioning and deploying robotic automation systems
• Strong documentation and communication abilities
• Fluent English (C1 or above)

The salary range for this position is €72,000–€82,000 per year.
