Senior R&D Excellence Manager (m/f/d)
We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior R&D Excellence Manager to lead strategic initiatives that strengthen our R&D performance and unlock new opportunities through scientific, digital, and operational excellence. In this position, you will shape the core of our R&D strategy by driving cross‑functional improvement initiatives, embedding digital‑first solutions, and ensuring alignment between R&D operations and business priorities.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead cross‑functional programs to boost efficiency, scientific rigor, and innovation across global R&D team
- Design and optimise key R&D processes, tools, and governance framework
- Act as a thought partner and subject matter expert in food science and technology
- Champion data‑informed decision‑making through modern digital tools and analytics
- Support portfolio planning, prioritisation, and resource optimisation
- Lead change management initiatives that cultivate a culture of excellence and collaboration
- Collaborate with global stakeholders in regulatory, quality, and commercial functions
Your Profile
- Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Food Technology, or a related field
5–8 years of experience in R&D or innovation management, ideally in food or consumer goods - Strong expertise in food chemistry, formulation, and experimental design
Proven experience in leading cross‑functional projects and driving transformation - Proficiency in R&D tools and methodologies (e.g., ELN, LIMS, Signavio, Agile, Stage‑Gate)
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
