Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- As Area Business Field Manager Nuclear New Builds (f/m/d), you assume technical and disciplinary leadership of technical experts working on nuclear new build projects at national and international level, including fusion projects.
- You ensure the quality assurance of the teams' work and deliverables.
- In close coordination with the responsible project managers, you also provide technical guidance and support to employees within the projects.
- Working closely with segment management, you drive the strategic and personnel-related expansion of the business field.
- In addition, you collaborate with TÜV Rheinland's international business units on a project-specific basis.
- Regular and focused coordination with customers, including active customer retention, project partners and other stakeholders completes your range of responsibility.
- Professional Experience & Additional Qualifications
- Successfully completed university degree in engineering, physics, natural sciences or a comparable discipline
- At least 10 years of qualified professional experience in nuclear new build projects or in the operation of nuclear facilities
- Experience in disciplinary leadership, for example as a team lead or project lead, is desirable
- Proven experience in an international environment, in-depth knowledge of the relevant regulatory and technical frameworks, and sound expertise of safety assessments and safety analyses
- Confident presence, strong intercultural competence, excellent networking skills and outstanding communication abilities, including native-level German and very good English skills
- Strong systematic and analytical working methods combined with a business oriented thinking and behavior
- Willingness to travel internationally on a frequent basis
