Position Overview: We areseeking a proactive and enthusiastic PR Manager(junior) to join our team in Berlin. The idealcandidate will have a passion for public relationsand communications, with a focus on building mediarelationships and effectively pitching articles,press releases, and securing speaker slots forconferences. This role offers an excellentopportunity to grow within the startup and VCsector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Media Relations: Develop and maintainstrong relationships with journalists, editors,and media outlets relevant to the venture capitaland startup ecosystem. Proactively pitch storyideas and press materials to media contacts tosecure coverage for our clients.
• Content Creation and editorial: Assist indrafting compelling press releases, articles, andother PR materials that align with ourclients' communication objectives.
• Events and conferences: Identify andsecure speaking opportunities at industryconferences and events for clients, ensuring theyare positioned as thought leaders in theirrespective fields.
• Research: Conduct research to support PRcampaigns, including media landscape analysis andidentifying emerging industry trends.
• Reporting: Monitor media coverage andprepare reports to evaluate the effectiveness ofPR campaigns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications,Public Relations, Journalism, Business Studies ora related field.
• Strong interest in the venture capital,startup, and tech industries.
• Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills in English; and proficiencyin German.
• Ability to craft compelling narrativesand adapt writing style for different audiences.
• Proactive, organized, and detail-orientedwith the ability to manage multiple taskssimultaneously.
• Familiarity with social media platformsand digital communication strategies.
• Previous experience in PR, internships,or related roles is advantageous but not required.
