Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Consultant (Director level) based in Germany, responsible for the strategy, development and work winning into the German and European Clean Energy and Transmission & Distribution sector.The role is focused on the extensive opportunity that Turner & Townsend are responding to in the German, Europe and Global markets for Clean Energy and Transmission & Distribution.

Key aspect of the role is to support the European business in Strategy and conversion of Major Projects and Programmes. This will include positioning and leading teams for major bids/Frameworks in the Transmission and Distribution sector, primarily focused on Germany and North-West Europe.

• Excellent communication skills and an ability to establish robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders and teams.
• Proactive approach to business development via new and existing clients, including cross-selling opportunities, and leading pursuits and tenders.
• Ability to serve in the capacity of a ‘doer / leader’ – someone who can deliver the service while building a team and the pipeline nationally.
• Being visible and leading by example, inspiring others to always give their best, and valuing and nurturing the diverse skills and perspectives around you.
• Ability to access and influence key decision makers within clients, regulatory bodies, and government.
• Fluency in German language is required

Qualifications

• Qualified to degree level within construction and / or engineering.
