Finance and Accounting Consultant (Freelance) Six-month initial contract | Full-time | Immediate start | Berlin (4 days onsite, 1 day WFH) We’re supporting a financial services platform in a fast-scaling environment that needs an experienced finance professional to provide interim cover around its year-end close, while it hires a permanent team member. You’ll strengthen processes around audit and regulatory topics and keep core accounting running accurately and on schedule. What you’ll do Support core accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance and continual improvement in financial operations Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including P familiarity with Pigment is desirable Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations and compliance requirements Professional fluency in English and German (German is desirable) Strong organisation and time management, with the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment A sharp analytical mindset, with a knack for spotting issues, improving processes and using automation or AI-driven tools Available to start immediately Interested?
