Processes transactions for customers seeking Tax relief for purchases over €2,500. Applies contents of AE Regulation 215-6, AFMAN 24-212, AFMAN 34-202, and 86th Force Support Squadron q Responsible for opening and closing of the safe; to generate, stamp and compile German VAT forms, make recommenda1ions to management concerning improvements, assist in assuring policies and procedures applicable to VAT transactions are adhered to and assist in providing guidance and training for new VAT employees. Receives, screens and reviews records, verifies documents, researches and compiles information and analyzes data to ensure a centralized information source is available.

Directs, controls, and administers the complete operation of the Utility Tax Avoidance Program (UTAP) Assists in preparation of daily paperwork and ensures timely reports for the utility companies so both parties are aware of participants who have PCSed and make sure all active participants are still on the list. Prepares and/or verifies the validity of documents, answers telephones and customer inquiries regarding the Tax relief program and files all VAT and UTAP paperwork daily.
