Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Surveyor role based in Germany, with work primarily in Berlin or Hannover project locations.

The Surveyor will perform land and construction site measurements, set out and verify reference points, and prepare accurate survey sketches, plans, and reports. Daily responsibilities include using surveying instruments and digital tools, checking levels and alignments, supporting design and construction teams with precise data, and ensuring measurements comply with project specifications and local standards.

The Surveyor will collaborate with Reljef engineers, site managers, and other specialists, contribute to problem-solving on site, and maintain clear records of survey results throughout each project phase.

Surveying & Construction Coordination

Site & topographic surveying:

Carrying out precise topographical, boundary and construction surveys using GNSS/GPS, total stations and modern digital surveying equipment. Construction setting-out: Establishing and verifying reference points, positions, elevations and dimensions required for accurate construction and installation activities.

Survey data & documentation:

Processing, checking and maintaining survey measurements, plans, drawings, reports and technical documentation.

Integrating survey data into CAD/BIM environments and ensuring accurate alignment between existing site conditions, planning models and construction data.

Quality assurance:

Verifying measurement accuracy, identifying discrepancies between planned and actual conditions, and coordinating their resolution with architects, engineers and construction teams.

Interface management:

Working closely with project management, design teams, contractors and external surveyors to ensure reliable and timely provision of surveying information.

Qualifications

We expect., that you are/have: University Bachelor or equivalent degree or professional qualification in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering or a related discipline.

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction surveying, site measurement or infrastructure projects.




• Good communication skills and willingness to work on construction sites and travel as required.




• Solid understanding of civil engineering or construction principles, especially related to roads, landscapes, outdoor infrastructure, and sports facilities.




• Confident use of GNSS/GPS, total stations and digital surveying technologies.




• Experience with CAD, BIM and/or geospatial data systems is an advantage.




• Ability to interpret technical drawings, site plans, and specifications, and to translate them into accurate on-site measurements.




• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and coordinating activities on active construction sites.




• Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and a methodical approach to data recording, quality control, and safety compliance.




• Experience working on construction projects in Germany or similar environments; familiarity with local regulations and standards is beneficial.




• Ability to work on-site in varying weather conditions, with a focus on safety and responsible equipment handling.




• Professional English language level (specialty professional and fluent vocabulary, both written and verbally)




• Command German language skills required;




• proficiency in Lithuanian is an advantage.

Salary: 3,300–4,200 EUR (before taxes), depending on skills and experience.
