Mission
Support and process all activities related to Securities Transfer changes affecting all types of assets, including alternative assets such as mutual funds, private equities and hedge funds.
Manage and oversee a team processing the funds activities, including private equities.
Work closely with key players to meet customer expectations.
Lead, mentor staff and provide oversight to ensure events are processed timely and accurately.
Management Responsibilities
Present strategic opportunities to mitigate risk.
Maintain KPI/KRI indices internally to mitigate risk associated with securities transfer activities.
Collaborate with various divisions of the bank to stay up to date with regulations impacting securities transfer activity.
Ensure department procedures are adhered to, review and maintain client task list and related SLA’s.
Communicate effectively across departments, with staff and senior management.
Lead staff meetings, participate in project management and industry events.
Follow up on pending issues and take appropriate measures for resolution.
Daily Business Responsibilities
Analyze received information: custodian’s Swifts, agent prospectuses, contract notes and financial provider data such as Bloomberg and Telekurs.
Control reconciliation of holdings, determine entitlements, and manage pending positions.
Manage and control securities transfer instructions received from Wealth Management and external parties (transfer IN/OUT/internal and funds registration process).
Control transmission of deposits to correspondents/Transfer Agents/Administrators and ensure safe delivery and acceptance.
Follow up on topics and issues throughout the lifecycle of securities transfer activities.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree.
Languages: French and English – fluent.
Personal skills: Think in Problem-Action-Result terms, be proactive and driven, demonstrate strong client service ethic, maintain quality standards under schedule pressures, highly organized, manage tight deadlines in a high-risk environment, ability to work under pressure, strong analytical skills, ability to identify problems and propose solutions, express opinions constructively, continuous learner, adaptability, self-motivation and teamwork, build lasting client relationships, consistently comply with internal and external regulations, attention to detail and accuracy.
