Wealth Management Assistant – Eastern Europe (German & English, 100%)
Within our Wealth Management Division, you will join our Eastern Europe Desk, which is responsible for providing superior banking services to our customers. The desk consists of an international team of experienced Relationship Managers, Advisors, and Assistants that ensure UBP standards are upheld for all clients.
Mission
Assist the Relationship Manager in opening new relationships and serving clients, in compliance with the bank’s internal regulations and guidelines.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare necessary documentation for client meetings and business trips for the Relationship Manager.
- Handle and monitor stock exchange orders, forex transactions, fiduciary relationships, loans, payment orders, and credit card applications.
- Manage cash operations.
- Assist in AML clarifications and prepare clients\‘ KYC and related updates.
- Provide administrative support to the team head and Relationship Managers.
- Direct interaction with clients via phone, email, and occasionally in meetings.
- Prepare and monitor account openings, closings, and mutations.
- Maintain records in compliance with internal and external regulations (e.g., portfolio reviews, AML, KYC, etc.).
- Perform various administrative tasks (e.g., preparing presentations, travel arrangements, and supporting clients with various requests, banking and non-banking).
- Act as deputy for other assistants if needed.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in a related field and/or further education (banking apprenticeship, CYP, CFA, etc.).
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Relationship Manager Assistant in banking.
- Strong banking knowledge (CYP, CWMA, etc.).
- Fluent in English.
- Highly service- and client-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Hardworking, efficient, self-reliant, stress resilient, and detail-oriented.
- Good at priority setting, with the ability to cope with pressure and high volumes.
This is a 100% role located in Zurich.
