Your role
Interested in working in financial services, specifically learning about global market trends, but not sure where to start? Are you a target driven individual, a team player with strong interpersonal skills and want to work in a client facing position? Are you passionate about financial markets and know how to spread your enthusiasm about markets to others? Are you interested in technical aspects but at the same able to deliver key messages in a concise and client friendly way? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?
We\’re looking for ambitious students to join our 2025 Global Markets Graduate Talent Program.
You’ll get to
- support the senior team members and take part in the coverage of client advisors and end clients across OTC Fixed Income and Commodities Derivatives and Solutions
- assist in the marketing and pricing of OTC Derivatives, and participate in the elaboration of strategies for the internal and external clients
- ensure pro-activity and proximity to our clients in order to provide best-in-class solutions and service
- provide actionable investment ideas based on the CIO House View and UBS Research to clients and client advisors taking product suitability into consideration
- handle daily business including administrative tasks, improve processes, increase efficiency and enhance customer service
- identify sales opportunities and coordinate sales efforts
- work closely with sales colleagues, structuring and trading teams around the globe
Your team
You’ll be working in the Unified Global Markets Structured Products & Solutions Distribution team and be specialized in OTC Fixed Income and Commodities Derivatives focusing on UBS Wealth Management clients within UBS Investment Bank in Opfikon. Your specific team covers end clients and client advisors.
As a member of the team in the Investment Bank, you work in a demanding and challenging environment within a highly motivated team.
Your expertise
- has completed their bachelor’s or master’s degree no longer than 18 months prior to the program start date
- has excellent English (written and oral), fluency in German preferred, French and Spanish would be an asset
- has an interest in financial markets, numbers, models and products
- has sharp analytical and problem solving skills
- has values that align with ours hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
- is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
- is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
