We would love to meet you. /ph3In This Role, You Will /h3ullicontribute to the development and maintenance of our trading connectivity platform, primarily using Java /liliwork closely with Software Engineers, Test Engineers, and Product Owners to deliver business requirements /liliparticipate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, releases, and production support activities /liliassist in troubleshooting and issue analysis with guidance from experienced team members /lililearn and apply AI-assisted engineering practices across the software development lifecycle /li /ulpGrow your understanding of financial markets, trading workflows, and industry-standard protocols such as FIX and SWIFT /ph3Your team /h3pOur team develops and maintains TCP/IP connectivity solutions linking clients, market venues, and internal trading platforms. These interfaces support 24/6 electronic trading across Equities, Fixed Income, ETFs, Derivatives, Structured Products, and more. /ppThe platform is used globally across UBS and by external institutional clients. Our team operates from Switzerland, Pune, and Singapore, offering a truly international and collaborative environment. /ppWe are also at the forefront of AI-assisted software engineering, continuously exploring how AI can improve the way we design, build, test, and operate software. /ph3Your expertise /h3h3We’re Looking For a Candidate Who /h3ulliis a recent graduate (graduated in the last 24 months) /lilihas fully completed their degree and met all graduation requirements by the program start date /lilihas no more than two years of full-time work experience /li /ulphas completed their bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in a MINT topic. /pullihas values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative /liliis a strategic thinker with strong communication skills /liliis motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines /lilican evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency /li /ulphas a competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 according to the Swiss grading system /pullidegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field /liligood knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming concepts /liliunderstanding of software development fundamentals and version control systems such as Git /lilistrong analytical and problem-solving skills /lilieagerness to learn and grow in an Agile environment /li /ulpInterest in AI-assisted development and modern engineering practices /ppWe’re looking for someone who’s curious and wants to thrive in a business that never stops moving.
