You will advise on lending, leasing, trade finance and cash management solutions, support the structuring and execution of transactions, and help identify and manage legal and regulatory risks across a broad range of business activities. /p pYou will work closely with business stakeholders, control functions and external counsel, while contributing to strategic projects and selected digital transformation initiatives that support the continued evolution of our products, services and processes. /p h3What you bring /h3 ul liA strong interest in banking, finance and the legal challenges facing a modern financial institution /li liA proactive and ownership-driven mindset, with the ability to independently manage legal matters and support complex transactions /li liStrong analytical skills and sound judgment to identify, assess and mitigate legal and regulatory risks /li liExcellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills, combined with a pragmatic and commercially minded approach /li liA collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working closely with business partners, control functions, external counsel and colleagues across Legal /li liResilience, adaptability and the ability to perform effectively under pressure while managing competing priorities and challenging deadlines /li liCuriosity for innovation and the ability to contribute to the development of new products, services and processes /li /ul h3The team /h3 pYou will join Corporate Banking Legal Switzerland, a dedicated and highly professional team supporting UBS's corporate banking business across a broad range of products, services and transactions. /p pOur team combines deep legal expertise with a strong culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing and practical problem-solving. We are trusted advisors to our business partners and work closely with colleagues across Legal, Risk, Compliance and other control functions. /p pOur team plays a key role in supporting and advancing initiatives across the following areas: /p ul liLending, leasing, trade finance and cash management solutions /li liDrafting, reviewing and negotiating financing agreements and related documentation /li liWorkout, recovery and litigation matters relating to corporate banking activities /li liStrategic business projects and transformation initiatives /li liLegal support for innovative products, services and process enhancements across the corporate banking business /li /ul h3Your Skills And Experience /h3 ul liMaster's degree in Law from a Swiss university and admission to the Swiss Bar /li li2-5 years of post-qualification experience gained in a law firm and/or an in-house legal department /li liStrong interest in banking and finance law, with a willingness to develop expertise across a broad range of corporate banking topics /li liGood knowledge of Swiss contract and commercial law; experience in banking and finance matters is an asset /li liStrong stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of seniority /li liAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment /li liFull professional proficiency in German and English; French and/or Italian language skills are a strong advantage /li /ul h3About Us /h3 pUBS is a leading and truly global wealth manager and the leading universal bank in Switzerland.
