About the role We are seeking a Principal Statistical Methodologist to join our Statistical Innovation team within Biometric and Data Sciences (BDS).
This position requires a curious and strategic thinker who excels in collaboration.
The role can be based in any of our offices located in Braine l'Alleud (Belgium), Monheim (Germany), Slough (UK), or Raleigh (US).

What you'll do
- Contribute to the development of innovative statistical methodologies to enhance evidence generation throughout the drug development process.
- Utilize modern computational techniques and machine learning approaches to improve data modeling and analysis.
Requirements
- A Ph D in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a statistical role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R or Python.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods applicable to clinical trials and drug development.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present complex statistical concepts to non-statistical audiences.
- Nice to have
- Experience with Bayesian statistics and adaptive trial designs.
- Familiarity with real-world evidence and health economics.
Skills & tools
- Expertise in statistical software and programming languages including R, Python, SAS, or similar tools.
