In this role, you will use your extensive experience with backend services, cloud infrastructure, and modern web technologies to build reliable, scalable products that integrate seamlessly with mobile devices and customers’ IT infrastructure. You will play a key role in translating customer requirements into product features, working closely with our Lead Engineer, CTO, software engineering and product teams. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, build, and maintain end-to-end SaaS features across frontend, backend, APIs, and data layers /li liDesign and maintain scalable backend services and microservices /li liBuild robust data models and work with databases such as MongoDB and Azure Cosmos DB /li liDevelop and operate secure, scalable cloud services across Azure and Google Cloud /li liUnderstand industrial workflows and customer requirements and translate them into well-designed product features /li liTake ownership of features throughout their lifecycle, from technical design and implementation to testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement /li liDrive software quality through clean architecture, automated testing, code reviews, monitoring, and modern DevOps practices /li liContribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, performance optimization, security, and production reliability /li liSupport the continuous evolution of our software architecture as the product and customer base scale /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 ul li5+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in SaaS or cloud-based product development /li liStrong backend engineering experience and understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and service-oriented architectures /li liExperience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cosmos DB, or comparable technologies /li liStrong experience with Azure or Google Cloud is beneficial /li liSolid understanding of software architecture, Domain-Driven Design, clean architecture, and modular system design /li liExperience with CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, infrastructure as code, and production operations /li liAbility to understand complex customer workflows and industrial processes and translate them into pragmatic, scalable software solutions /li liStrong product mindset with a focus on usability, maintainability, and delivering measurable customer value /li liStrong ownership, structured problem-solving, and hands‑on execution /li liExcellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical teams and customer-facing stakeholders /li liFluent in English; German is a strong advantage /li /ul h3What We Value /h3 pWe are looking for someone who combines technical depth, sound judgment, and a strong sense of ownership.
