Overview
As Senior GEO / SEO Manager at MSQ DX, you will craft and drive innovative GEO/SEO strategies (technical, content, offsite) that align with client objectives. You will lead projects and mentor team members while supporting key accounts with strategic insight and operational excellence. You will monitor KPIs, analyze performance, and adapt tactics to maximize impact. You will work closely with sales, content, and PR teams, stay current on industry trends, and share knowledge across the team. This role offers the chance to shape clients’ visibility at scale in a collaborative, growth-minded agency culture.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop and implement GEO/SEO strategies aligned with client objectives, collaborating with content and PR teams
- Own strategy KPIs, monitor roadmaps and analyze performance to adjust tactics
- Establish standardized processes and mentor team members
- Support the sales team with knowledge for pre-sales activities and client pitches
- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools and Google updates and apply insights to client strategies
- Manage workload, meet client deadlines, and delegate tasks to teams or managers
- Share updates and expertise with the wider team
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 3–5 years of SEO experience in developing and managing SEO strategies with budget responsibility
- Experience managing German and English-speaking teams
- SEO knowledge with deep understanding of content and offsite pillars
- Advanced experience in SEO audits, including keyword research, technical analysis, crawl budget optimization and content strategy
- Proven ability to communicate with clients, present strategic plans and understand brand, goals and target audience
- Adept at using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog and Accuranker
- Experience in improving processes and evolving search landscapes, including AI-driven changes and initial experience in AEO and GEO
