Project Engineer - Electronic Controls (UL/IEC 61010)

Join our Signature Solutions Team as Project Engineer (m/f/i) with UL/IEC 61010 experience and work closely with clients, laboratories and internal stakeholders to evaluate products against applicable standards, manage project timelines and provide technical guidance throughout the certification process.

Locations

• Neu-Isenburg, Germany

• Greater Paris area (St. Aubin), France

• Warsaw, Poland and work on a hybrid bases (3 days on-site required)

  Work Arrangement:

• hybrid, 3 days on-site

To certify the newest products of our most innovative customers in Energy and Industrial Automation:

• You will coordinate the execution and timely completion of Certification Projects

• You will determine the project scope, define project specifications and the appropriate test programs

• You will also establish test programs for product investigations and preparing reports for customers

• You may act as a Reviewer for Certification Projects if you achieved the necessary UL- Competency Level

• Your projects may include travel to conduct or witness tests at client sites (this may take 10% of your time)

• You will participate in the development of UL requirements, test methods and test equipment

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or Physics from an accredited program plus around 3 years directly related work experience

• Highly customer focused way of working and the ability to communicate pro-actively

• Fluency in English

• German / French would also be an asset (depending on the work location)

• Knowledge in IEC Safety Standards UL/IEC 61010-1 /-2-201

• Detailed knowledge of the technical vocabulary common to the appropriate discipline

• Excellent project handling skills in the area of expertise

• Working knowledge of conformity standards in use in area of expertise.
