Responsibilities
We are preparing for a partial IPO and need a Head of Treasury and M&A to play a pivotal leadership role at the intersection of financial strategy and corporate growth.
- Define and implement a global treasury strategy, ensuring sustainable liquidity, optimized funding structures, and a resilient capital structure while actively managing financial risks across the organization.
- Steer global cash and liquidity management, including sophisticated cash pooling structures; lead financing activities on debt and capital markets and develop strategic relationships with banks, creditors, and rating agencies.
- Take full ownership of financial risk management, including FX, interest rate, and counterparty risks; design and execute effective hedging strategies and continuously improve treasury governance, policies, and systems to meet evolving regulatory and business requirements.
- Build and lead a high‑performing, integrated Treasury and M&A organization, develop a scalable operating model aligned with the company’s growth ambitions and IPO roadmap, and act as a trusted partner to the CFO and executive leadership on capital allocation, funding strategy, and investment priorities.
- Execute M&A transactions, including structuring, negotiation, and execution; coordinate external advisors, collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, and prepare sound decision bases for executive and board‑level approvals.
Qualifications
- Completed degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
- Extensive leadership experience in corporate treasury and/or M&A / corporate finance, with a proven track record in dynamic environments such as transformations, IPO readiness, or high‑growth settings.
- Strong expertise in financing, capital markets, and banking relationship management as well as hands‑on experience executing M&A transactions.
- Proven digital and AI focus with the ability to leverage modern technologies and data‑driven approaches to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with exposure to C‑level and investors, paired with strong strategic thinking, execution capabilities, and a collaborative, solution‑oriented mindset.
- Fluent English skills (German is a plus).
