Senior Electrical Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team in a technically challenging role focused on the planning, implementation, and supervision of electrical systems within industrial facilities. This position offers the chance to work on complex infrastructure and process-related projects, where your expertise in electrical power engineering and project coordination will be essential!

Key Responsibilities:

☑️ Oversee the planning, acquisition, installation, commissioning, documentation, and upkeep of low and medium-voltage electrical systems within industrial facilities and associated infrastructure, ensuring alignment with applicable engineering standards and internal protocols.

☑️ Supervise on-site personnel during installation phases to ensure strict adherence to safety and compliance regulations.

☑️ Establish and manage the budget and project timeline specific to the electrical engineering scope within broader capital or maintenance projects.

☑️ Develop detailed functional specifications and technical documentation for electrical system design and integration.

☑️ Coordinate and monitor the technical execution of design and installation tasks conducted by external contractors or engineering service providers.

☑️ Fulfill the role of designated electrical supervisor (as defined by relevant safety and technical standards, e.g., DIN VDE 1000-10:2009-01).

Your Qualifications:

✅ A university degree in electrical engineering with a specialization in electrical power systems or a comparable qualification

✅ A minimum of five years of professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably within an industrial or process-driven environment

✅ Proficient in the design, construction, and commissioning of electrical switchgear and capable of performing load analysis and network design

✅ In-depth understanding of electrical system protection, switching operations, and strong familiarity with applicable industry regulations and legal requirements

✅ More than three years of hands-on project management experience, especially in overseeing design, implementation, and commissioning phases

✅ Strong communication abilities and demonstrated success in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external partners
