Job Description
Providing executive protection and secure transportation to the Vice-Chancellor, his/her top management, UNAM Council and external and international University guests during official travel, meetings, events and other authorised engagements.
The position is responsible for assessing security risks, planning protective arrangements, conducting advance security activities, providing secure executive transportation, monitoring security information and responding to security and emergency situations, while maintaining a high level of confidentiality, discretion and professionalism.
This position requires a 45-hour work week and availability for overtime, travel and after-hours duties, when required.
Requirements
- Candidate must be in position of a Diploma in Police Science, Security Management, Security Training or related field, coupled with at least four (4) years’ relevant experience in executive protection, close protection, or a related environment.
- Candidate must have experience in executive/VIP protection and defensive driving, security risk assessment, advance security planning and emergency response.
- Candidate must have experience in dealing with senior executives, dignitaries, government officials or other high-profile stakeholders and preparing security incident reports.
- preference will be given to candidates with: Advanced Defensive Driving Certificate, Basic First Aid Certification, Public Driver’s Permit (PDP), Certificate of Good Conduct
- This position is subjected to security vetting.
