Job Description
To provide leadership, coordination and oversight of special strategic institutional projects and strategic initiatives within the Office of the Vice-Chancellor in support of the university’s strategic objectives and institutional performance priorities as stated in the Integrated Strategic Business Plan.
The incumbent is responsible in collaboration with other units for conceptualizing and driving cross-functional institutional projects of strategic significance. This includes initiating, coordinating, monitoring and ensuring the execution of strategic project initiatives, as well as providing advisory and analytical support to the Office of the Vice-Chancellor.
Requirements
Master’s degree in either Project Management, Development Finance, Strategic Management, Business Administration or a related field.
At least five (5) years’ experience in large scale project conceptualization and development and at a middle management level in: strategic project management, institutional planning, executive support, governance and compliance or programme and project management.
Project Management Certification and Management experience in Higher Education will serve as an advantage.
